The central permit tool Kermit (ProcessPro for Schiphol) has been operational for TVA and OVA Terminal permits for a year now.
It's now time for the next step; WCA (permits for Airside, Landside and Cranes) will move to Kermit as of April 25th!
With one central permit tool, applying for permits becomes easier and granting permits more efficient. All communication is done through the Kermit Portal, the status of the application is fully transparent and the link between different permits guarantees faster processing. The 'Overviews' section in the portal offers the applicant and viewer a quick and easy overview of the applications, statuses, and granted permits.
The Kermit Portal's start screen is equipped with a button to request manuals to assist portal users.
After April 25th, the next step will be to integrate the COP permits. These are the technical and operational permits that are issued within the baggage process. A dedicated Scrum Team from Schiphol and CenterOne will work together to efficiently implement new processes within Kermit.
